    Wow, it's been awhile. I didn't realize just how long till today. Bullets again for the sake of saving time.

    • Went to Dublin & London for 10 days with Caryn. Stayed with our friend Katie in her dorm there. Generally went to pubs, clubs, markets, and also celebrated Thanksgiving and cooked a ton of food with some american college kids to show our british friends what american gluttony is all about. Crashed an exclusive Camel cigarette event while in Dublin. Met some cool people. Visited the Guiness brewery.
    • Was given a forced 3 week unpaid vacation over Christmas but ended up having a pretty good Christmas all the same. Got great gifts for friends at the Goodwill. Spent a lot of time with Caryn. Did some visiting in Pennsylvania. Dealt with ice storms. Spent time with family.
    • New Year's Eve party at Rick's with Rhett & Bryan.
    • Various visits with Caryn, nights with my boys etc.
    • Turned 20, had my first birthday party with friends since I was 'round abouts 12 years old. It was a great night. Rhett and Steph planned it, Lucas let us use his apartment. Caryn, Zach, Jared, Spenser, Wade, Steph, Rhett, & Lucas were all in attendence. Drunken debauchery of sorts ensued.
    • Found a new great female friend in Steph.
    • Went to various parties.
    • Formed a greater circle of close friends.
    • Have a problem with too much stomach acid that was recently diagnosed. "Somewhere between acid reflux and an ulcer". Taking meds for it finally after a rough month or two.
    • Moved from a temp to a full time employee at my company. With a bit of a raise and benefits now.

    Ok there are various adventures in here that I can't remember because it's 3:30am.

    This past week my family was out of town so my friends stayed here at the house with me to help watch the dogs and other animals while I was at work. It was a lovely time we baked cakes, drank a little, made wonderful dinners, built a fort, left lots of notes for each other, and enjoyed a tire swing very much.This weekend I had a 3 day weekend. Saw my mother and her husband in Shepherdstown as they paid me and my brother a visit. They met my friends (Allen, Steph, Bryan, & Rhett). I bought a beautiful turquois necklace from Afghanistan & a ring made with a butterfly wing. Sat outside the Lost Dog enjoying the sun and drinking tasty drinks. Bought Allen's 10 month old daughter, Winter, some cool toyss. Allen, myself & my brother picked up Winter & went to Wal-Mart to get some beads to make bracelets. Then dropped in at Lucas' new apartment near my house so I could reimburse him some for 2 tickets to Video Games Live this coming Friday. We borrowed some dvds & talked for awhile. Then we took Winter to meet my dad and Sandra. Allen and I stayed up late making silly bracelets for our friends. 4th of July involved going antiquing with Allen, his mom, & Winter. Then going to a party at Devin's with one group of friends & eating delicious food. Then driving the long way through the country side (stopping so Allen could pick flowers for Steph) to another party at Zach's with a different group of friends. Watched three sets of fireworks, took cute pictures, and went swimming at midnight. Took Allen & Winter home and ended up talking on the porch till 5am (and being peed on by a baby). Today I have blissfully stayed in bed with my kitty watching almost the entire box set of Firefly.

     

    All the babble aside...I am happier now than I have been in a long long long long long long long time. I'm single, I have stomach problems, my car has a fucked up transmission, etc...but I have great friends. I have a job. The car's still running. My family situation is good. I just have a really great support system in place right now. Everything's gonna be alright.

    Life in Bullets

    • Went to a place called "The Fantastic Farm" and watched a ton of jam bands with my boys sitting on blankets drinking some beers and enjoying the beautiful night and hippie festivities. Watched the sunrise sitting in a boat in the middle of a field with Josh, Devin, and Spenser (brad was asleep on a blanket & steven was asleep in the car).
    • Work work work work work and somehow never leave it being pissed off. Dumb AE's call in and don't appear to be able to do their basic job functions but it just rolls off. I joke around with my coworkers, my manager is badass, my job is not strenuous.
    • Many a ridiculous night has been had drinking at Randy's over the past few months. But some nights we just listen to Tori Amos (because we can admit that we like her) on the porch and talk about life.
    • My dad & his girl bid on a house in West Virginia so we may be moving out there and combining households, which I'm ok with.
    • My cat is living at Katelyne's still and being a good girl until we get a place that I can have her in again. I miss falling asleep with her but soon.
    • Dad's girl got a husky puppy a week ago and it's the cutest thing to ever lick my face.
    • Drove to fuckin' Fleetwood, PA on Saturday with Katelyne, Spense, and Sam in my car to Alexander's German Deli to see Erik Peterson (Mischief Brew) play as well as Caryn's band (Old Man River) and a handful of other's that I really enjoyed. Saw a friend from high school for the first time in 3 yrs, which was really cool and his band was pretty excellent too. Had a great time and went to the Temple Diner afterwards with Caryn, Katie, and my party. Then drove all 3 hrs back home the same night so Spense and Katelyne could work in the morning.
    • Travis is thinking of moving out my way which I find to be a delightful idea.
    • Katelyne's 20th birthday came and we tried to have a surprise party for her. She was aware of it, but still we had a Hulk bday cake and Transformers party hats and silly drinking games and silly string and pin the tail on the donkey. haha. All the things I don't actually remember doing at parties as a kid anyway. I got her a really cool ring that says "anam cara" which means "soul friend" in gaelic.
    • Katelyne and I recently spent a night sitting at spenser's while he wasn't home watching a Hitchcock movie with his mom and then driving around together singing "Man I Feel Like a Woman".
    • Spense lost his license for 4 months after an mva hearing Tuesday morning for a dui in July. I was his moral support. Gave him a hug and we got some coffee at Waffle House, talked, and watched the rain. I'll be going to court/taking him to court next week as well.
    • Got sick last week but that hasn't stopped me from doing ridiculous things yet!
    • Have been on and off hanging out with a handful of people
    • Found a really cool head shop near Harpers Ferry, WV that sells Nag Champa soap and other fun things
    • Am going to Europe from November 20th to 30th this year, will be in England and Ireland. Got my passport and plane tickets,don't need much else. Nothing can really ruin that for me.
    • Hopefully will start taking classes this Spring.
    • Have been reading so so so much more lately.
    • Have been singing more...think maybe I should let more people hear me. Danny told me that when I want to and when I feel it I really have a voice. Caryn told me I should use it more. Randy said he just likes to listen to it.
    • Have been laughing more.
    • Wish I could get tattoos now but must save for overseas spending money and bills.
    • Think I am missing a whole bunch of crazy random ridiculous things I should mention, but it's 3am and I must sleep......
    • "God's Gonna Cut You Down" - Johnny Cash is such a good song

  • I'm trying to go to Europe for a week in November with Caryn. I have to see if I can take off work and I'm not sure...but we will see. I just want to leave for awhile. She has a friend in London that we would stay with.

    I'm getting 3 puffy dandelion's tattooed on me sometime when I get the money and appointment together, it's a friendship tattoo with Katelyne and Spenser that nobody else needs to understand.

    I spend too much time sitting on Randy's porch.

    I actually kind of like my job, even though I hate the actual work, the people are funny.

    Life is big and stupid and wonderful and funny.
